10 Most Iconic Scene In MCU Movies That Get Much Better Overtime

The MCU is a wonderful gift to the world. Marvel's universe has something for everyone, whether you're looking for a good laugh, a good cry, or a chance to stand up and cheer. With so many iconic scenes, it's difficult to keep track of all of the many moments that have impacted us.
With that in mind, I decided to sit down and go over MCU films (it took quite a lot of time) to come up with what I considered to be some of the finest superhero Entertainment to ever hit the big screen. Of course, tastes vary are bound to spark some debate, but I've put together my personal favorite scenes. Some of the scenes are big fight scenes that are expertly filmed and edited and keep viewers on the edge of their seats as they watch the battle unfold. Other scenes are amusing, with wonderful banter and fan-favorite comic-book situations. Regardless, they're all absolutely incredible.
So, here is my list of the most iconic scenes from MCU films.

#1 Press conference at the end of "Iron Man 1"

This is one moment in particular that stands out and it occurs at the end of the movie "Iron Man 1". Stark chooses to divulge his identity to the press as the film comes to a close, "The truth is, I am Iron Man." As the scene goes to black and the titles roll, a smirk forming on the billionaire's face. This is the best way to end an MCU movie.

#2 Black Widow death scene

One of the most heartbreaking scenes in the MCU is Black Widow's death in "Avengers: Endgame". We know she had a life outside the Avengers and SHIELD, and she left behind an unusual but loved family when she died. So that viewing her death scene in Hawkeye is all the more painful, especially seeing how her sister and Clint Barton respond to her death.

#3 Captain America giving up the shield

There were many powerful situations in "Captain America: Civil War", but the most heartbreaking one was when Steve gives up his shield after Tony claims it was crafted by his father. This was the scene that helped viewers grasp the scope of their feud, and it also marked the beginning of a schism amongst the Avengers.

#4 Avengers Assemble

In "The Avengers" in 2012, The original six Avengers assembled for the first time. With Loki's extraterrestrial army invading New York City, the team assembles for the first time to face a global danger. Every fan was interested in unison when Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye appeared on the screen.

#5 Thor defeating Hela without his hammer

Thor's battle with Hela is one of the most spectacular fight sequences in the MCU. It's the first time we have known how Thor unleashes his thunder strength without Mjolnir. This is not just a breathtaking display, but it is also a pivotal moment in God of Thunder's voyage. It also establishes a new Thor for future films.

#6 Doctor Strange meeting Peter Parker

"Oh, we're using our made-up names. Then, I am Spider-Man" The classic line when Peter replied to Strange's introduction in "Avengers: Infinity War" has impressed many audiences. However, the moment is likely to be more important as the duo establishes a much deeper friendship in "Spider-Man: No Way Home". Peter calls Strange "Stephen" and "Sir" as an indication that he is in and out of favor with the sorcerer, up until Peter Parker is forgotten.

#7 Captain America not lifting Mjolnir

In "Avengers: Age of Ultron", Steve could easily have lifted Mjolnir in the party, but he pretended he couldn't. That scene has become a point of discussion because the film didn't explain why Steve did, especially after he had the chance to use Mjolnir against Thanos.

#8 Loki was Hulk-smashed

At the Avengers Tower, Loki was Hulk-smashed. This was always one of the film's most amusing sequences due to the fact that it was the first time Loki's egotistical attitude was actually pounded down to a pulp.

#9 Doctor Strange gave up the Time Stone to Thanos

In "Avengers: Infinity War", Doctor Strange gave up the Time Stone to Thanos in order to spare Tony's life. Many people asked why Stephen did it and his reasons were clarified in "Endgame". In Infinity War, Doctor Strange witnessed all of the various timelines. He realized that the only way they'd be able to defeat Thanos was if Iron Man was present. He didn't tell anybody at the time, even Tony. But "Endgame" made it plain why he handed up the time stone and finally allowed Thanos to win.

#10 Ant-Man getting stuck in the Quantum Realm ( Ant-Man and The Wasp)

In "Ant-Man and The Wasp", Ant-Man gets stuck in the Quantum Realm for five years. Hardly anyone could have thought that this would release to Thanos'snap in Avengers: Endgame. This scene is also considered as the culmination of "Infinity Saga".
