3 Architectures Carrying The World’s Greatest Mysteries

There are famous architectures having existed for generations, yet still contain mysteries that are inexplicable. Among the said constructions, it is necessary to mention the Yonaguni Island Submarine Topography, being controversial for more than 30 years, whose formation on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean has not been clarified.

Yonaguni Monument was discovered in 1985, off the coast of Ryukyu Islands, Japan. A subject of controversy, it is believed to have been formed by ocean waves and tides.
However, Masaaki Kimura, a marine geologist at the University of the Ryukyus, Japan who spent more than 15 years diving under the sea of Yonaguni sea to measure and understand its formation, has shocked other scientists with a statement that this strange formation is actually the ruins of Atlantis – an ancient city sunk by earthquakes 2,000 years ago.
"The largest structure looks like a complicated, monolithic, stepped pyramid that rises from a depth of 25 meters [82 feet]," - Kimura presented his latest hypothesis at a scientific conference.
But unlike other stories of sunken cities, Kimura's claim has been disputed.
" I'm not convinced that any of the major features or structures are manmade steps or terraces, but that they're all natural." - Robert Schoch, professor of science and mathematics at Boston University, who has dived at the site.
At the center of the present-day monument is a 27-meter-high pyramid surrounded by 10 smaller structures. The Yonaguni is located 98 feet under of the water, so it can still be accessed by experienced divers. Schools of large hammer sharks often swim through here during their migration from November to June every year.
After years of research, divers have discovered long paths, grand avenues, large staircases, archways, and huge blocks of stone precisely and meticulously hewn. The giant staircases here have been built from a series of stone layers 1m high, like pyramid steps. Therefore, locals have believed that this giant pyramid-like construction at the bottom of the sea wasn’t built by humans.

Have you ever thought what would happen if the entire civilization and everything we have worked so hard to build were wiped out? Georgia Guidestones are man-made guidelines for future generations.
The US’s most mysterious construction is located in a desolate land northeast of Georgia. Those are 5 shiny giant stone blocks forming a star shape, towering high into the sky. Upon approaching them, people immediately think of England’s stonehege, or Space Journey’s monoliths. Built in 1980, is the monument quietly waiting for the end of the world?
The stones are carved in 8 languages: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese and Russian, representing the ideals of a new age. For example: "Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity."; "Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite."...
It is believed that the Guidestones are instructions for survivors in an upcoming "great tribulation". The man calling himself "R. C. Christian" represents an anonymous group believing human civilization would be about to destroy itself, so they decided to leave instructions for those left on Earth.

Easter Island, Chile

It is an island famous for 887 giant stone statues of human faces (called Moai), belonging to Chile's sovereignty in the Southeast Pacific Ocean. It is known that these statues were created by the ancient Rapa Nui ethnic group.
On a remote island off the coast of Chile hundreds of stone heads and bodies have been erected along beautiful long paths. How to transport them here, erect them with each stone statue weighing up to about 14 tons... have all remained great mystery.
The mysterious structures were either built on the seabed or the ground, with unique mysterious colors, have attracted a lot of explorers. As of now there is no clear statement proving how they are formulated, so many people tend to believe that they are the product of nature's miracle rather than man-made.
