Reddit user u/Durncha posted his story, telling about his experience working for a bad employer. This man is a legend, a true leader that all employees will love to have. You know, in a company, a good one, managers act as the translators, the conduits that help pass the information in both directions. And when the pressure pushes downwards, they'll be the barrier and interpret the conversation to their subordinates in the most effective way. Not just that, they'll also act as the voice, the representative when something needs to be communicated upwards.
But in an ineffective organization, like the one in this story, the pressure just keeps pushing downwards. And u/Durncha didn't give it up. He tried his best to protect his employees and stood up for them from time to time. Then he eventually got fired for that. Not a happy ending for such an excellent boss. He's the true leader that we all need to have in this world.
