Bill Murray Has Confirmed His Role As The Next Villain In Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania

Movie star Bill Murray has said that his part in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is unlike the usual do-gooders for whom he is recognized. Murray was asked about his role in the new movie by former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning on The Eli Manning Broadcast. "Aren't you in, like, a superhero movie coming out? Ant-Man?" Murray not only confirms his presence in the project, but when asked what his superpower is, He answers, "My power is, I'm a bad guy."
nullMurray, best known for his roles in comedies such as Ghostbusters and Stripes, was first revealed to be participating in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe episode in October 2021, with the performer later verifying his presence a few days later while talking to German news Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Murray was said to be portraying Krylar, an obscure, Hulk-related figure from Marvel comics, according to a report picked up by The Illuminerdi in late December. However, Krylar's first appearance featured him heroically assisting the Hulk, dispelling the notion – unless the movie truly alters Krylar.
nullKang the Conqueror, performed by Jonathan Majors, will be the primary antagonist of Quantumania. The actor previously portrayed a variation of Kang, He Who Remains, in the Loki finale on Disney+, which hinted at the villain's future MCU arrival. Given that Ant-Man and the Wasp had numerous enemies who did not collaborate, it is unknown whether Murray's secret role will be linked to Majors' or someone else completely.
nullMurray's role in the superhero film, on the other hand, means a reunion is on the way, and it won't be long. Murray was recently seen in Ghostbusters: Afterlife with Ant-Man star Paul Rudd, however, his screen time was limited. Rudd described Murray's presence in the MCU as "nothing more than a rumor" during the Afterlife red carpet premiere.
nullAlthough Rudd stayed tight-lipped, Murray's role with Quantumania is obvious, and he discussed the movie's star more on The Eli Manning Show. In an interview with Manning, Murray joked that if Paul Rudd doesn't agree with his "Sexiest Man Alive" title, neither does Murray, stating, "I'm gonna go along with Paul." However, no additional information regarding Rudd, Ant-Man, or Murray's evil part was revealed.
