Even when he started his own business with computer software company MicroSolutions, he continued to educate himself. "I really put the effort in and it went big," Cuban said. In 1990, Cuban sold MicroSolutions for $6 million.
Now, even as a billionaire, Cuban said, he's still learning. For example, if he is going to invest in a piece of technology, he needs to know how it works. Mark Cuban said: "I still read the manual. I want to be that guy who really knows his stuff."
