Mark Cuban is a famous American businessman and investor. At the age of 63, he is one of the most famous sharks appeared in the US show Shark Tank, owning a fortune of $4.5 billion. However, not everyone knows that this billionaire has a quite low background, and it took him a lot of effort to be in his current position.
His secret to getting rich is very simple, that is, just try everything you can and find out what you are good at, then practice to master it. In an interview on the YouTube show "Earn Your Leisure", Mark Cuban once said: "When you find something you’re good at, go for it ... Just do everything you can to be great at it, and that’s when you really make money. That’s how the money’s made"
This is a valuable piece of advice that we should consider, especially when working towards a life-changing goal in the new year. This billionaire emphasized, this advice is especially suitable for young people or those with financial difficulties.
He explained: " If you’re broke, now’s the time to try. Because what’s the worst that could happen, right? You’re going to stay broke. But if you keep on trying different things, when you find that one great thing, then amazing things happen." Just be prepared for mistakes and falls.

Cuban added: " I think a lot of people get frustrated, because it’s hard to find something that you love to do and that you’re good at. Life’s about the grind, and life’s about learning. If it were easy, everybody would be doing it." The billionaire's point is that if you fail, don't be worried or discouraged, instead try to overcome it.
For example, throughout his career, Mark Cuban has tried many things, including TV repair or bartending. In his early 20s, he applied for a job at a company selling computer software, even though he only took a single computer class in college, not to mention he cheated in that class.
So, in order to keep his job, he began reading computer manuals to teach himself the technology. Even when he started his own business with computer software company MicroSolutions, he continued to educate himself. "I really put the effort in and it went big," Cuban said. In 1990, Cuban sold MicroSolutions for $6 million.
Now, even as a billionaire, Cuban said, he's still learning. For example, if he is going to invest in a piece of technology, he needs to know how it works. Mark Cuban said: "I still read the manual. I want to be that guy who really knows his stuff."
