Nine-Month-Old Kefir Weighs 26.5 Pounds, And It Is Famous For Its Enormous Size

Averagely, a cat measures up to 18 inches in length and 10 inches in height. Even though males are larger than females, typical domestic cats weigh between 9 and 11 pounds. At that adorable size, cats are easy for hugs and cuddles. But if you love to hug a bigger fluffy feline, let's meet Marine Coon Cat Kefir, who has recently become famous for its enormous size.

Kefir's owner, Yuliya, tells that her cat is 9 months old but weighs around 26.5 pounds. However, she believes the cat to grow a little more because Kefir isn't fully grown up. If you still don't figure out how large the cat is, the pictures below might help you.

With its enormous size and beautiful fur, it's not hard to see why Kefir is gaining love over the Internet.
Yuliya also shared that she fell in love and decided to adopt the feline from a cattery due to its beautiful white coat. But it was not until she lived with it that the owner realized Kefir had many other good personalities.

This is a gentle cat who loves eating natural feeding. It is like a small kitten in a body of a massive beast. Kefir is smart and sensitive. It can feel the general mood in the house and learn not to harm the furniture. According to the owner, she and her husband consider Kefir as a member of their family.

The only cons of Kefir’s maintenance, however, is that the cat leaves so much wool around the house, which means that Yuliya needs to tidy it regularly.
If you wonder how other people react when they see the huge cat, Yuliya says their reactions are hilarious.
“It’s funny how others react when they see the cat because it is huge. Many people think that it’s a dog at first.”
