"The Book Of Boba Fett" Debuted With An Intense Episode

Boba Fett has been through it all. As a clone of the great hunter Jango Fett created on Kamino, he witnessed the traumatic departure of his father as a child, he soon embarked on his career as a bounty hunter, and then tragically and somehow foolishly precipitated into the jaws of the monster Sarlacc on Tatooine, in which he remained trapped and being digested for a thousand years.

This at least is what Star Wars fans who have not been passionate about the huge Legends universe knew, but just over a year ago, the Galaxy's famous bounty hunter is back in action. We saw him in the second season of The Mandalorian, where Temuera Morrison reprised the role of Boba (actually he played Jango and his clones, but Boba is also a clone, so...).
Noting the success of this appreciated return, Lucasfilm even gave the green light to a spin-off series centered on him, and Morrison has proved to be the right man to portray this complicated character despite having passed the age of 60.

The Book of Boba Fett debuted today on Disney+ with an intense first episode. The Mandalorian, with the help of Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), has managed to overturn the hierarchy of the Mafia powers on Tatooine, taking the place of Bib Fortuna as the new "Hutt" of the desert planet.
The introduction to this second part of the history of Boba, after the fall of the Empire, doesn't contain a lot of particular ideas for the future or clues that can help us understand where the story will go. In fact, this Chapter 1 is dedicated to telling the past, to narrating the deeds of the one who is in effect a survivor and who had to fight tooth and nail to be able to return to where he wanted, in a position of power.

Although there are some sequences set in the present day of the series, the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett mainly follows the events of the second season of The Mandalorian and focuses on the tiring path of Boba after managing to escape from Sarlacc's bowels. He struggles between life and death on a planet that is not very hospitable and full of dangers between marauders and wild creatures, having to start from scratch.
If we have not misinterpreted how The Book of Boba Fett will be managed, it will be interesting to continue to follow this parallelism between the hunter who has to be reborn and the one who wants to impose himself, between the man who wants to survive and the one who wants to take revenge on a planet whose positions of power are now empty.
