Christmas and New Year is often the favorite time of the year in Western countries. These two most important holidays come next to each other, so people often have a long vacation, relax with family and friends, or simply cherish them with lovely gifts.
Recently, a TikTok user called @scotthubs shared a video capturing the process of turning his mixed Chihuahua, Gracie, into a beautiful gift. Turned out his dog was consent with it, and his pure reactions helped the viral video reach up to 42.3 million viewers and 4.8 million likes.
Gracie, 7 years old, was rescued by her owner, Scott Hubbard. In the video, you can see Scott gently wrapped the dog with a sheet of paper and a red bow on the top of her head. Meanwhile, Gracie seemed to be happy with it. The man shared that was one of his family holiday traditions, apart from taking pictures with their pet and giving it good treats.
“Every year I wrap my dog up just to remind us both of the gift she is,” Hubbard told Fox News. “She was rescued from Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, Arizona, seven years ago.”
People were interested in seeing how patient and cooperative Gracie was. A TikTok user commented “[She] looks happy just to be included,” while another wrote, “I am ready to receive this gift.”
