"Hawkeye" Should Have Had A Very Different Post-Credits Scene

According to a rumor, Hawkeye's post-credits scene should have been very different from the Rogers musical we had, even though it indeed suits the holiday season better.
"It's like, no, no, no, it's Christmas, it's light. We've got so much blood in this episode, it's just fun. It's a fun release at the end, and it's a nice way to send people off. That's how that came about and in terms of what it was," said Rhys Thomas - director of the finale.

In the last episode of the miniseries, Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and his partner, Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) take matters into their own hands and face the Tracksuit Mafia and their leader, Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio). After a fight between Kingpin and Kate, his protégé Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) threatens him with a gun, and later we will hear a shot being fired but we have no idea what happened to Fisk. Therefore, the series ends with a big question mark about the fate of the Tracksuit Mafia boss.
Now, a new rumor has suggested that among the cut scenes, in addition to the one that features an owl carrying a truck with the Tracksuit Mafia members who were sized down by Ant-Man's shrinking arrow inside (which was confirmed by visual effects artist Elaina Scott), there is also a scene that reveals Wilson Fisk's fate.

According to The Cosmic Circus, that scene would have confirmed that Fisk actually survived the shooting and later, Barton even handed him the Ronin sword that he used to kill William Lopez (Zahn McClarnon), Maya's father. Notably, the man also wanted Fisk to stay away from Kate Bishop and his family, including Agent 19 aka Laura Barton (Linda Cardellini).
Hawkeye is now fully available on Disney+ with all 6 episodes that make up the miniseries.
