Reuters reports that Tesla CEO Elon Musk is "thinking" of leaving his job and becoming a social media influencer. The world’s richest man shared this idea through a tweet on Thursday.
Specifically, Musk wrote: "Thinking of quitting my current job & becoming an influencer full-time wdyt." He gave no further explanation after the tweet.

It's unclear if Musk, an active user of the social networking platform, was serious about giving up his occupations.
Musk is currently the founder and CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and leads brain microchip startup Neuralink, together with infrastructure company The Boring Company. He said during a conference in January that he expected to be CEO of Tesla for "a few more years".
"It would be nice to have a bit more free time on my hands as opposed to just working day and night, from when I wake up to when I go to sleep 7 days a week. Pretty intense."
Last month, Musk asked his Twitter followers whether he should sell his 10% stake in Tesla, the electric-car maker, where the  majority of survey respondents agreed. Since then, he has sold nearly $12 billion worth of stock.
Lawyers say the billionaire is known for his Twitter jokes and lively interactions with followers.

Musk was fined $20 million by the US Securities and Exchange Commission for his tweets in 2018 and ordered to step down as chairman of Tesla.
Howard Fischer, a partner at the law firm Moses & Singer, said Musk's latest tweets don't seem to break any rules because they were so vague.
Currently, Musk's tweet has received 27,000 retweets, countless comments and 362,000 likes.
Responding to Musk's idea of ​​becoming a full-time influencer, many followers expressed excitement, some even expressed: “I will become your first Youtube channel subscriber.”
