Giraffes are the tallest terrestrial species that live mostly on the Savannah or in open woodland. An adult giraffe can grow up to 16.4 to 19.7 feet, and males are often higher than females. Imagine how awesome it can be to witness a herd of giraffes, at such height, cross your car? Now you have the answer.

Among the tourists was Sonali Dudhane, 43, who got down from her car with other people to witness the scene that left them "speechless".
Sonali, from Lucknow (Inda), said that her trip was held up for twenty minutes for the giraffes to emerge from the brush and cross the road. But she didn't feel bothered about it. She and other tourists watched in awe.
The woman was able to take some pictures that perfectly captured that moment. Watch them here:

"We got to witness this great moment and were able to capture the moment on camera. I had never seen this big herd before, I was trying to count the number through my viewfinder," she said.

Giraffes are friendly and kind animals, but they are being listed as 'vulnerable' species. It's important that governments issue policies and captive breeding programs to help protect these animals.
