Preview Future Movies Which Will Cast Iconic MCU Actors

Movie stars have largely fallen by the wayside. Contemporary blockbuster celebrities are intellectual assets such as a YA mystical story, a cosmos far, far away, or even Earth's Mightiest Warriors. Starring a Marvel character is one of the few ways to become a legitimate celebrity in today's Hollywood.
The MCU has a history of casting fresh and unpopular actors in major roles. With the huge success of the Marvel franchise, Disney has elevated several of the cast members to the level of superstars such as Chris Pratt, Robert Downey, Jr., and Chris Evans. However, in the end, being an actor is a profession, therefore it's logical to see MCU faces feature in other films. As a result, the Marvel actors have a plethora of fascinating forthcoming projects, such as Robert Downey, Jr.'s starring appearance in the next Christopher Nolan film.

#1 Scarlett Johansson - Asteroid City (TBD)

Anderson has been filming Asteroid City, an ensemble romantic comedy-drama, in Spain. The plot is being kept a secret, but like so many Anderson movies, it is said to concentrate on clever adolescents who are aware beyond their age. Many of Anderson's other long-time partners, including Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, and Adrien Brody, will star with Johansson.

#2 Jonathan Majors - Devotion (TBD)

Jonathan Majors debuted his MCU appearance in the final episode of Loki on Disney+ earlier 2020. The star has been selected as Kang the Conqueror, who will most likely be Marvel's next Thanos-sized real villain. Majors will also appear in J.D. Dillard's Devotion, directed by the same man who directed Sleight & Sweetheart. The film, which co-stars Joe Jonas and Glen Powell, is about Navy fighter pilots during the Korean War.

#3 Brie Larson - Lessons In Chemistry (TBD)

The storyline, set in the 1960s, is about a young lady who desires to be a scientist but confronts prejudice due to her gender. Susannah Grant, the Oscar-nominated writer of Erin Brockovich, has been selected to script the show. Jason Bateman has also agreed to serve as an executive producer.

#4 Chris Pratt - Untitled Mario Movie (December 21, 2022)

Chris Pratt lately ignited heated discussion between fans when he was hired to voice not one, but two classic characters: Mario from Nintendo games and Garfield from Jim Davis comics. Pratt will play Mario with Charlie Day, who might portray Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, and Keegan-Michael Key, who will portray Toad.

#5 Florence Pugh - Don’t Worry Darling (September 23, 2022)

Don't Worry Darling, which is expected to be released on September 23, 2022, is a psychological drama set in the 1950s about a miserable housewife and her husband's horrible mystery. Florence Pugh, who gained notoriety prior to taking over as the MCU's new Black Widow, will feature in the movie's ensemble cast with Harry Styles and Gemma Chan from Eternals.

#6 Tom Holland - Uncharted (February 18, 2022)

For years, a film version of the Uncharted videogames has already been stuck in development. If done well, an Uncharted film may be described as a cross between James Bond with Indiana Jones. Spider-Man actor Tom Holland will portray Nathan Drake, alongside Mark Wahlberg as Sully, and Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer will direct the movie.

#7 Samuel L. Jackson - Argylle (TBD)

Samuel L. Jackson is teaming up again with Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn for a new spy thriller. Argylle, based on the novel by Ellie Conway and adapted by Wonder Woman's Jason Fuchs, follows an amnesiac spy who is fooled into believing she is a renowned spy fiction writer.

#8 Chris Hemsworth - Escape From Spiderhead (December 2021)

The film, which stars Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller, and Jurnee Smollett, follows the story of two criminals in a terrifying near-future who are imprisoned in a facility that is experimenting on inmates with mood-altering chemicals.

#9 Chris Evans - Lightyear (June 17, 2022)

Lightyear, which will be released in the summer of 2022, is a basic sci-fi story about the "real" Buzz. This was not the Buzz action figure portrayed by Allen in the Toy Story film; it's really the Buzz that lives inside the Toy Story universe.

#10 Robert Downey, Jr. - Oppenheimer (July 21, 2023)

The film will center on the Manhattan Project and the development of the atomic weapon. Robert Downey, Jr., Marvel's previous centerpiece star, has been chosen in the role of Lewis Strauss, an entrepreneur and naval commander who spent two terms on the United States Atomic Energy Commission.
