In this project, Pixar continues to show great creativity when conveying a story that is close to each person in a one-of-a-kind way. The film's creative team used the image of a red panda to metaphorize the change in thinking and psychology of teenage girl Mei Lee.

From the first minutes of the teaser, the audience couldn't help but be curious about the character Mei Lee, an adolescent girl who is constantly surveyed by her mother outside of the classroom. Viewers were surprised and delighted to witness Mei Lee "morph" into a big red panda in only a few seconds thanks. This special ability comes when her emotions run high. Mei Lee fled out, desperately avoiding everyone's gaze and her mother's undivided attention because she was too ashamed. The audience laughed at the scene in the Turning Red preview where the cute red panda Mei Lee struggled with her big look.
