Citizens' Amusing Response To Thailand’s “Everyday Say No To Plastic Bags” Campaign

The government of Thailand has become more serious about the plastic waste problem after some wild animals were found dead, with plastic fragments inside their bodies. From the beginning of 2020, Thailand took extreme action to ban all types of single-use plastic bags in the hope of reducing the amount of this waste. So, all citizens could no longer use plastic bags when shopping for groceries.
Thai shoppers quickly adapted to the new situation. As no plastic bags were allowed, they switched to buckets, rolling suitcases, and even baby baths to carry their items. That's a positive response to the new policy, though. And thanks to the cooperation of all people, the initial result was excellent. Within five months after the policy took effect, Thailand, from 6th place, downed to 10th place on the chart of the countries polluting the ocean the most.
And now, let's take a look at these amusing and creative ways Thai people go shopping without plastic bags. Thailand is one among more than 120 countries that have officially banned or regulated the use of plastic bags. Hope this policy will be widespread soon, as everyone should be responsible for the future of life on earth. No more talking. Scroll down and check them out now.
