Gorgeous Photos Proves That Anyone Can Be A Disney Princess, Even If You Are African

Well, it's difficult to find a young girl who has never dreamed of becoming a Disney princess. Despite the fact that the media has developed and people are more open about racial issues, most princesses are always associated with the image of white skin, long hair, American-European, big eyes,... This has accidentally killed the dreams of millions of little girls when they realized that they themselves did not "fit" the standards of a princess' appearance.
Realizing that, hairstylist LaChanda Gatson decided to run a photoshoot to redefine the concept of a princess. In association with an Atlanta-based photography studio CreativeSoul, they created a series of photos of Disney princesses together. Except for this time, the princesses are all young Black girls.
With the creative and inspiring concept, these photos have received great support on social media and have inspired many young girls. This is true to their original purpose: "The goal is to inspire more girls around the world to start seeing themselves as regal princesses." - Kahran, the photographer, shared.
