Artist Shares Her Illustrations Of Celebrities Who Amazingly Look Like Disney Cartoon Characters

Helen Morgun, a Ukrainian artist has recreated Disney characters based on the facial features of celebrities. Her stunning digital illustrations mix actors and singers with their animated images in the costumes as Disney princesses. Amanda Seyfried as Rapunzel, Blake Lively as Sleeping Beauty, and Lucy Liu as Mulan are listed among her favorite celebrities.
Before Morgun started to sketch, she scanned Disney’s characters such as princesses, queens, villains, and others to find out an appropriate match for the celebrity she has in mind. Then Morgun painstakingly returns each theme to Photoshop with a photo of the star as a reference. During that time, the artist added costumes and accessories that are indicative of the persona of Disney.
For example, in the portrait of Rihanna as Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog”, Morgun cleverly combined Tiana’s signature jewelry and the character’s specialized gloves for Rihanna. In Morgun’s art, Billie Eilish appears like the white-haired Kida from Atlantis, a film by the Lost Empire. Additionally, in the Frozen 2-inspired illustration, Margot Robbie turns into Elsa.
