Artist Reinvents Famous Art Masterpieces By Replacing Original Muse With Disney Characters, And The Results Are Awesome!

Many people don't care much art history because they think that only artists, art critics, and those working in the art sphere need to learn about it. However, a Spanish artist thinks differently. He thinks that this wonderful art needs to become more popular in the world.
To help people to memorize these classics better, the graphic designer and illustrator Carlos Gromo decided to create a series where Disney characters were the main objectives in famous paintings to educate people in an entertaining way and help them learn something about classical art.
The artist started this project in 2019 when he finished his Fine Arts career at university and realized that many people don’t know much about art history or famous paintings. Combining modern technologies with classical art, he invites everyone to look at these masterpieces from a new angle. Scroll down to see his work!

"This project started because when I finished my Fine Arts career at university, as an artist, I realized that many people didn't know many of the art paintings and I thought that I could present them in a more original way. I have always liked to draw Disney, so I thought of the idea of starting this project by drawing those characters from the Movies in those pictures from art history. In this way, I managed to give visibility to many works of art and artists from different periods,” he said in an interview with Bored Panda.
