20 Charming Photos Of Black Cats And Dogs In 'Chasing Shadows' Project, Have A Look!

It's sad to know that black animals are often the last ones to get adopted in shelters. While people often say "don't judge a book by its cover", they often do the opposite in real life. Cats and dogs whose fur color is black (often considered an unlucky color) are less preferable than other animals of the same breed. But when we try to observe these black animals, we'll see that they are born to be different. They just shine in the way they are supposed to be. These black furry friends look trustful, making them great companions and loyal security guards.
To change people's minds,  photographer Chantal Levesque came up with a project called 'Chasing Shadows - Journey of black adopted animals".  The aim of the project is to show people how amazing, beautiful, funny and talented the black animals are. Chantal Levesque hopes to  blow out people's prejudice about these animals, and we think she was successful with it. If you don't believe it, the twenty pictures below will persuade you!
