Adorable Footage Of Baby Elephant Playing Football To Celebrate Her 1st Birthday

Baby elephants are adorable and energetic kids. They get hooked into outdoor activities and can spend the whole day for them. Nothing is more joyful than playing with their favorite toys outside. If their friends, siblings, or parents join the game, they will certainly have an awesome day.

Elizabeth the baby elephant in this story is a “master” of enjoying her time at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, the largest zoo in the UK. She has an endless love for balls and can run around them all day.

The active calf used to play with the inflatable medicine ball. She loved it so much that she rarely allowed the others in her herd to take the ball out of her. Who can stay mad with this adorable stubby creature?

For this thing, keepers at the ZSL Whipsnade Zoo decided to give baby Elizabeth a new set of soccer balls at her first birthday. And the reaction of the calf warmed their hearts. She couldn’t be happier with her birthday present. She played with her balls joyfully.

As the little girl had more than one ball, she agreed to let other herd members play with her. They got tons of fun and stimulation. And for sure, little Elizabeth had an unforgettable birthday.

These joyful moments were filmed on camera by the zoo’s keeper. When they shared the video on the zoo’s social accounts, it went viral. People can’t get enough of the cuteness of the baby elephant!

The calf was a chubby girl. She weighed approximately 130kg when she was an infant, but her weight is half a ton (480kg) after a year. It means that the young animal has a lot of energy for outdoor games.

Regarding her beloved name, Elizabeth, the baby elephant was named after HM Queen. She was born just before Her Majesty’s 90th birthday in 2016.
