These Cats “Trained” Human To Serve Treats Whenever They Ring Bells

Remember the famous Pavlov’s Dog experiment conducted by Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov where human rings the bell then feeds the dogs, leading to the dogs’ conditioned response of salivating to the sound of the bell? Well, a Japanese Twitter user had tried it on their cats, and then they found out it wasn’t the cats who were conditioned to associate food with the sound of a bell, it was THEM who were trained to serve food whenever their cats rang the bells indeed.
In the strangely fascinating footage, a gray tabby and a bicolor cat are sitting side by side, eager pawing at the bells repeatedly on the table. Each time they ring their bell, they would be “rewarded” a tiny treat. They scoff the treat in the blink of an eye, and then continue to strike the bell for more and more treats. Aren’t these fur babies clever?

A few seconds later, the funny tabby boi evens use his friend’s bell to demand food for himself – such a mischievous kitty!

The other cat doesn’t mind though, he absolutely has no pawblem sharing the bell with his pal – as long as he has treats of course. Just look at the way his eyes glow each time his food is approaching!
