She uses a variety of techniques, one of which is to let her kids to develop good character traits like kindness and gratitude on their own by imitating their parents. She cited Cinderella as an example of a story where the main character must "wait about for a rich guy to rescue her, no, rescue yourself! The famous couple, who have a 5-year-old boy and a 7-year-old daughter, admitted that they don't enjoy spoiling their kids with presents. The actress began by stating, “So far, our tradition is no presents for the kids... Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was 2...and we didn’t give her anything — it was the grandparents.’’  She explained, ’’The kid no longer appreciates the one gift. They don’t even know what they’re expecting; they’re just expecting stuff.”

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady have two kids, and they follow the "no diaper rule," forgoing the use of traditional diapers (whether cloth or disposable). Instead, they choose for "natural infant hygiene" or "elimination communication." To put it briefly, the actress carried her infant about the home and paid great attention to their bodily signals; when they needed to use the restroom, she would hold them over the toilet. Benjamin, one of their children, was toilet trained at the age of six months, which is one advantage of this guideline.
