Meet Blanche, a Canadian-based artist, who used materials like daily-life situations or random happenings in an imaginary world to create hilarious illustrations. Believe in us! In an interview, the artist mentioned that she loves creating comics. "When I was thirteen years old, I would draw every night and make stories," she revealed. "After studying visual arts in college I went to university to do a baccalaureate in comic arts. I graduated in 2018, and it took me some time before doing little strip comics, but here I am, having a blast!" Also, she added that she is an apprentice tattoo artist in Montréal.
When asked about what the most difficult part of the creative process is, the author answered that it's being consistent. Of course, she doesn't live from making comics, but she still wants to post them constantly. However, comics take time to make, don't burn yourself out. Many online creators can become engrossed in creating content and eventually burn out. For Blanche, she tries to avoid that.
Blanche gets ideas from a lot of things: her life, and the "stupid stuff" she thinks about. Sometimes, random words online inspire her to create something.
