Artist Draws Comics About Being A Strong Independent Woman And Modern Life

Making an effort to improve your life or appearance is always welcomed and encouraged. But not at the expense of one's health. People are under a lot of pressure from society to live up to expectations that are neither valid nor desirable. Furthermore, because there isn't anyone exactly like you, and that is your greatest asset, the pressure of fitting into a "one size fits all" mold steals one's joy in life.
Exactly this is the message that illustrator Lainey Molnar wants to get across in her work. Lainey's goal is to "improve the world for women." The artist illustrates what it means to be a woman in today's society in extremely realistic and aesthetically pleasing ways.
She examines topics like gender, societal pressures, double standards, and several other problems that contemporary women deal with on a daily basis in the comics. Look at the gorgeous illustrations Lainey produced. What do you think? What are some of the preconceptions that women and men still have today, in your opinion?
