12 Actors Who Were Way Older Than The Characters They Played, Yet Nobody Noticed

A film actor often resembles the character they are portraying in terms of age, which is one of the main distinctions between cinema acting and theater acting. There is more leeway in the theater because clothes, wigs, and theatrical makeup may turn a teenager into a little child. Since it's far simpler to observe someone in a camera closeup than it is hundreds of feet away on a theater stage, movies and television are typically not given this luxury. However, many films have managed to pull through such challenges.

Maybe those performers are older, and maybe the rest of the cast and crew are exempt from child labor restrictions. Whatever the cause, the casts of some of our most well-liked high school-based series tend to have members who are far older than their on-screen counterparts.
