11 Pairs Of Actors Who Refuse To Share Any Screen Time Together

Hollywood is packed with great chemistry between actors. Talented actors know how to control their emotions so most viewers are convinced that they might have a good relationship in real life. However, when filming wraps, many pairs of actors cannot seem to make it work. In some cases, they hate each other so much that they refuse to film scenes together again. 

Whether it is the cutthroat environment of working on a big-budget movie set or certain personalities clash more than others, they have taken it so far as to vow to never work together ever again after butting heads.

You might not notice that Cersei Lannister and Bronn didn’t appear in any scene on Game of Thrones. Viewers are even not likely to see them in the same room offset. It’s because they used to be a couple but their love story didn’t end well.

#2. Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte

From the beginning of the filming of I Love Trouble, Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte couldn’t stand each other. Their cold relationship made the entire production staff nervous. After filming was done, they didn’t even say any nice words toward each other in interviews.

#3. Bill Murray and Lucy Liu

While filming Charlie’s Angels, Bill Murray disparaged Lucy Liu’s acting skills which led to the spoiling of their relationship. In the sequel, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Murray was replaced by Bernie Mac.

#4. George Clooney and Russell Crowe

The fued between George Clooney and Russell Crowe was confirmed in 2013 when Clooney told Esquire that Crowe needed to apologize for insulting him. 

He said, “[Crowe] picked a fight with me. He started it for no reason at all. He put out this thing saying, ’George Clooney, Harrison Ford, and Robert De Niro are sellouts.’” Later, Crowe sent Clooney a disc of his music along with his own poetry as a peace offering with a note saying, “It was all misquoted.” Nevertheless, we still haven’t seen these 2 actors in the same scene together.

#5. Alec Baldwin and Shia LaBeouf

On the set of Orphans, Shia LaBeouf beat Alec Baldwin just because the actor forgot his lines. Shia LaBeouf claimed, “If you don’t say your lines, ... I’m just going to keep saying my lines.” After the incident, Alec Baldwin asked production to let him leave the project but they chose to fire LaBeouf. We may never see these 2 in a movie or a Broadway play together again.

#6. Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel

Many people believed that Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel are actually best friends because they have so much in common. However, John admitted that during filming The Fast and the Furious, he got along with his female co-stars but couldn’t say the same about his male co-stars. Since then, they’d rarely film in any scenes.

#7. Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere

The Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere feud remains unknown. It started on the set of The Lords of Flatbush and grew strong that they even had a fistfight. As a result, Gere had to leave the project and they haven’t appeared in a scene together ever since.

#8. Wesley Snipes and Ryan Reynolds

While filming Blade: Trinity, Ryan Reynolds declared that he was never going to share any scene with Wesley Snipes. The crew revealed that Reynolds felt annoyed that Wesley Snipes consistently relaxed while Reynolds had to work with his stunt double. Snipes didn’t refute these claims.

#9. Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty

It seems that no one confirms why Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty couldn’t get along. It is said that they had a disagreement while filming Charmed in the 1990s. The conflict boiled over intensely and strongly that Doherty decided to leave the show after the third season. Luckily, they’ve reconciled since but they refuse to work together.

#10. Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi

There were rumors about the chilly relationship between Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi until 2015 when Panjabi claimed that she was leaving The Good Wife series. During the last 3 years of filming, they hadn’t shared a scene together. Panjabi revealed the final scene where she was supposed to act with Margulies was filmed separately. Their performances were completed with the help of a green screen.

#11. James Franco And Tyrese Gibson

The tension between James Franco And Tyrese Gibson began on the set of the Annapolis movie. After filming wrapped, Gibson claimed that he’d never film in a scene with his former co-star again. This was because Franco was too cruel on set and threw real punches at Tyrese during their boxing scenes.
