When I don't grasp anything, someone else probably does, I discovered in class. Learning another person's viewpoint on a subject is more beneficial than trying to force your own and failing miserably.
That is the moral lesson to be taken away from Gennifer Hutchison's popular Twitter thread. She believes that male historians and anthropologists often make mistakes in their studies because they don't consider the perspectives of women.
