According to the listing agent Chad Whitmer, who spoke with TMZ, the owner also bought the adjacent properties to make place for a museum, souvenir shop, parking lots, and "The Bumpus House" next door, which is now up for sale.
According to the home's website, the Museum is the location of "the largest collection of original costumes, props, behind-the-scenes images, and other memorabilia from the movie." A 1939 Ford LaFrance firetruck, identical to the one shown in the movie, is now in a garage detached from the main house.
