#1 Shrek

The developers of  "Shrek" took mud showers to study "fluid dynamic simulation" for the movie. The art director also took a trip to magnolia plantation to learn how properly render Shrek's swamp. He was chased by an alligator.

Anna has left and there is no need for Hans to pretend to be good. But he smiles looking after her. And his smile doesn't look like the typical smile of a villain, but it's an ordinary smile without any deceit. Though the creators wanted to show Hans as an atypical antagonist, he has a good side.

In "Zootopia" (2016), Mr. Big, the mafia boss, is an Arctic Shrew. Director Roy Moore made this choice because “the arctic shrew is the most vicious predator on earth”. Arctic Shrews eat three times their own body weight and even eat other shrews.
