#1. Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is the favorite actress/singer of a generation with her starring role in Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, one of the most successful TV Shows on this network. She first came out to her mom when she was 14, identifying herself as bisexual. Later, she made an official announcement for being "pansexual" and "gender-neutral". The singer is also an activist for the community by founding Happy Hippie Foundation to support queer and homeless youth.

Miley’s labelmate is a close friend of hers and also a pansexual, non-binary woman. "I am too gay to marry a man right now", the star of Camp Rock once stated in an interview. Currently, she/they are dating Canadian singer Jute$. 

#3. Raven Symoné

Seemingly there are so many LGBT child actors from Disney. Raven used to be a notable actress/singer with numerous works under this famous kids’ channel including That’s So Raven and The Cheetah Girls. In 2013, when many states legalized same-sex marriage, she posted a Tweet on her Twitter saying "I can finally get married!". 

#4. Bella Thorne

Zendaya’s costar is the next one in this list of child actors who came out as gay. She came out as bisexual in 2019 on Twitter when a fan asked if she were bisexual. She replied “Yes”. Afterwards, she confirmed that she was actually pansexual. 

#5. Charlie Carver

Charlie is Max Carver’s twin brother and they both starred in TV series such as Teen Wolf and Desperate Housewives. In 2016, he came out as gay on a Instagram post with the support from his twin brother and fans. They are both contributing to the support of the community. Most recently, Charlie has been cast as the main actor for American Horror Story: NYC on FX. 

#6. Garrett Clayton

Garrett is another among child stars who came out as gay from Disney. He used to participate in  Shake It Up and Teen Beach Movie and its sequel, Teen Beach 2. He came out in 2018 and is now married to Blake Knight, a screenplay writer, whom he was dating from 2011. Previously, the actor portrayed Sean Paul Lockhart, a gay pornographic actor, in 2016 movie King Cobra.

#7. Jonathan Bennett

Jonathan acted in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and opposite Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams in the legendary teen movie Mean Girls. He is not only an actor but also a TV host, writer and entrepreneur. The actor has been openly gay and married to Jaymes Vaughan earlier this year. He will star in Hallmark Channel’s The Holiday Sitter this holiday season as a main role for the first time in a while. Let’s anticipate his comeback.
